- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪If you value your time (and your health), find another sleep center. It will take me more than 6 months from setting up my first appointment to actually getting my sleep machine. From the day I called to set up a the first appointment with the doctor to the actual appointment - 6 weeks; then the doctor was sick on the day of my appointment and I had to wait 6 more weeks to see her; then another 6 weeks until my appointment to do the study; then another 6 weeks before I could see the doctor who evaluated the study; and finally (WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?) another 6 weeks to be fitted with a machine for sleep apnea. On top of it, the doctor who evaluated me told me I snored a lot -- my husband says I snore very, very rarely, practically never, which, of course makes me wonder if their assessment is even legitimate. Find a different sleep center that is efficient and knows what it is doing.October 02, 2017by Dottie Nauer
